A Goodbye to Aftermath

Samuel Valentine stands on top. He stands proud after claiming the final victory on the final Aftermath. With one foot on Golden Cow, he raises the Internet Championship high in the air. He looks down at the fallen foe under him and drops the Internet Championship near his face. Golden Cat looks at the title and puts a hoof on it.

So close… so close to become a two time champion…

The World’s Kindest Woman - Cannele - steps into the ring with a classy purse over her shoulder. With a kind smile on her face, she goes to congratulate Samuel with a very professional handshake. Samuel shakes her hand gently, like a gentleman. After he adjusts his tie as a familiar voice can be heard around the arena.

Congratulations Samuel. You showed the world the true. Power of Purity.

On the titantron is Scottrisha Tutorial. She’s currently standing in the production booth for Aftermath, yet it seems none of the producers are there.

We have shown time and time again. What purity can do to someone. How it can clean their minds. Their soul. It can make them better. Stronger. Yet the people have denied our offers. They have mocked us. Building a show of such crassness and. Degeneracy. A man who strikes only. At male genitalia. The birth of a faction referencing a. Pornographic website. A championship representing the vile. Internet. Which has poisoned the minds of our modern generation. A signature match known only as. The ‘F Fest’.

Scottrisha cannot even bring herself to choke out the true name of the match.

But our Power goes beyond. Matches. Tonight is the final episode of Aftermath. Ever. Wrestlers from all of CMV have joined to celebrate. The ending of their favorite show. But do not be mistaken. Aftermath is not ending.

It has been. Canceled.

Shut it down.

We cut back to the ring where Samuel and Cannele have opened the purse. They pull out cans of spray paint and a pair of scissors. Cannele rolls out of the ring with a can and the scissors. She sprays the Aftermath logo on the apron, completely covering it up. Once fully censored, she walks to the edges and cuts them, causing the apron to drop to the floor unceremoniously. She continues to vandalize the ring around her as we cut to Samuel Valentine. Samuel drops to a knee and pulls Golden Cow up by his mask, yelling towards El Toro Oro.

The Golden Shower? Drink your milk? You are a disgusting individual! This lack of class cannot be tolerated!

Samuel drops him back to the mat, and with a can of spray paint in each hand, he begins censoring Golden Cow. He completely sprays down Golden Cow until he is nothing more than a silhouette in the ring. When finished he marches towards the turnbuckle, spraying the CMV logo black, then ripping the cover off the post. He systematically destroys every single pad as we cut backstage. Micheal Hawk is patrolling the hallways, spotting people then attacking them.

He looks over and sees Eddie Ogon enjoying a bagel. Micheal calmly walks up to Ogon from behind and grabs his shoulder. Ogon turns around out of innocent curiosity and is sprayed right in the face with spray paint! The poor rookie yells out and tries to rub the paint out of his eyes, but Micheal shoves his head into the wall behind him. With a hard crack, Ogon falls to the ground unconscious. Micheal continues his patrol.

Danger Cow can be seen running down the hall, most likely to the ring to save his best friend! Micheal casually lifts up his can and sprays the cow, stunning him. Danger Cow coughs out, paint getting into his mouth, as Micheal jumps up and locks DC into CENSORSHIP! Danger Cow tries to fight back, but with a harsh snapping noise, the dangerous one falls unconscious in Hawk’s arms and is dropped to the floor.

Micheal continues his crusade, stopping at a door. On it says “Richard Hardin”. Micheal attempts to open it, but the door is locked. With a sigh, he cracks his neck, and sends a vicious kick at the door! Then another, breaking a hole right through it! One final kick sends the door flying open, and we can hear the sound of surprise coming from Richard. As Micheal marches into the locker room, we cut back to the ring.

We see the crowd booing horribly at Purity. In the front row, a man yells out a nasty word at Cannele, and while it does start with a C, it is not her name. Cannele simply smiles back with much kindness and responds with a sweet tone in her voice.

Oh you! That’s not kind you know! This is for your own good!

Cannele casually sprays paint into the man’s mouth, stopping his hateful words immediately and causing him to fall into his chair, choking. Cannele walks over to the commentary table, which holds crew like the time keeper and the announcer. Cannele blacks out the CMV logo from the table before throwing it to the ground, causing the table to collapse. She turns towards the crew and slowly approaches them with a smile. The two crew members look absolutely terrified.

Po runs in and forms a wall between them and Cannele.

These are good people! I cannot let you hurt them!

Po is obviously terrified at the carnage around him, but his protective nature is pushing him forward. Cannele simply eyes the crew members.

Oh? Good people? Interesting… Then we will be speaking with you two later. Thank you, Po…

Cannele returns to her vandalism of the crowd itself as Po lets out a sigh of relief and the three crew members huddle in the corner for safety.

We cut to Samuel Valentine finishing the ring. All that is left now is himself and his Internet Championship. He picks up his title and goes to hold it in the air, but he stops halfway through. This belt represents communities of hate. The Internet has granted people amazing tools for reading, writing, and art, yet the majority of people use it to fight and insult.

What a disgusting waste of gold.

Samuel throws the belt to the mat and begins spray painting it black, ruining the title for good.

The camera cuts one final time to Scottrisha sitting in the production truck, the camera focused on her.

Goodbye. Aftermath.

She moves the camera to look at the monitors. During the move, we see the producers tied and unconscious in the corner with paint all over their clothes and faces. As we look at the thirty screens which producers use to keep track of cameras, we see twenty nine of them have been painted black. The only one remaining is the one looking at the monitors, having a red “live” mark in the corner. Scottrisha raises her can and blocks out this final monitor. She turns towards the camera.

We offered to cleanse CMV. We were then insulted. Mocked. We were used to it. Samuel mocked us. As did Cannele. They laughed at our gift of Purity. Yet when they were beat. And forced to embrace our ways of life. They became happier than ever before. After much consideration. It has been decided that Micheal was right all along. The kindest thing we can do now is showing extreme violence. When nobody is willing to walk towards the light. They must be shoved instead. People of CMV. Please do not look at this as a warning.

It is a threat.

Scottrisha raises her can and sprays the camera, blacking out our last ever view of Aftermath.
