One More Shot

Madison Wright is seen making her way through the Octane arena, the stress of everything going on around her clearly taking it's toll. She approaches her office, reaches into her pockets for her keys, only to notice that the door is already unlocked and hanging slightly ajar. Cautiously, she pushes the door open, seeing her desk chair's back.

"Hello?"

The chair swings around, revealing Jason Spade. Madison immediately relaxes.

"Jason, it's just you... How'd you get in here?"

Jason Spade stands up.

"I want in."

Madison tilts her head.

"In what?"

"The Global Championship match. Virtue, Colt, Harris... I want you to make it a Fatal Four Way and put me in."

"Jason... You've had more shots than anyone else would get. How is it going to look if I give you this one, too? I can see about maybe--"

Spade slams his hands on the desk.

"I can do this, Maddie, I... I know I can! I just need one more shot. Think of it as an investment."

Madison crosses her arms.

"Jason, I really... I can't deal with this right now. Josh Wolf and Kliq are trying to kill each other, and--"

"Madison."

Spade approaches her, and takes both of her hands in his.

"Trust me... This is gonna be good for both of us. I need you to believe in me. Will you do that for me?"

Madison blushes.

"I... Okay. I'll make the arrangements."

Spade smiles and kisses her forehead.

"Thanks, babe. I'll call you later."

Spade leaves the room and Madison watches him go, crossing her arms again and sighing heavily. The scene fades to black.
