Enemy Lines

The post-Ascendance X episode of Shockwave kicks off, and as the pyro settles and the smoke clears, the music is drowned out by the roar of the crowd as Dashing DJ Urie welcomes the fans to the show.

"Welcome, my fine feathered friends, to Community Universe Mode episod--"

Before Dashing can finish, the lights go out. After a moment they come back on, and Jason Spade's music begins to play! Surprised, the fans cheer as the brand new CMV Global Champion makes his way out to the ring, sporting his brand new championship. Spade struts to the ring, strumming the championship belt like a guitar, and slides into the ring. Spade grabs a microphone.

"Well, well, well... What do we have here?"

The crowd cheers.

"Jason Spade on Shockwave? Is it Christmas? No, maybe not, but for you guys it might as well be, because I have brought to you ungrateful pieces of trash... The greatest gift anyone can receive... Me!"

The crowd boos, though some scattered cheers can still be heard.

"Now to you, Shockwave fans, I have brought me- but for Shockwave itself, for Mr. Jackson Wright, I have brought an even sweeter gift. I have brought the gift of a business proposal I have brought brand supremacy because I am declaring my intent to leave Octane, join Shockwave, and bring the CMV Global Champiionship with me!"

The crowd cheers again, shocked by this development.

"So Jackson, I know you're back there, my friend... What say you? Do you want to keep pretending that Shockwave is the best show in CMV, or do you want to make it the best by bringing in not only a second World Championship, but by signing the single best professional wrestler on this planet, huh??"

More mixed crowd reactions. Spade raises his microphone to the crowd, capturing their noise, as they wait for the Shockwave general manager to make his presence felt. After a moment, Jackson Wright's music plays and the man himself walks out onto the stage, flanked on either side by Gabriel Cero and Domenico Zaccardi. Wright raises his own microphone.

"Well, Jason, let me be the first to welcome you to CMV Shockwave here tonight."

The crowd cheers. Spade nods his head.

"You may be an uninvited guest, but you are still a guest... Which is the only reason I haven't had you arrested for trespassing."

Spade immediately frowns and raises his microphone, but Wright cuts him off.

"I'll be completely honest with you, Jason, it's a tempting offer... Two world titles, on my show? That screams money to me... But I see right through you, Jason, and I think everyone else here does too. We're not stupid; we can all see that the only reason you want to come onto my show is to get away from my sister, Madison Wright."

The crowd cheers and Spade immediately shakes his head and starts vehemently denying the allegations into his microphone... But his microphone has been turned off.

"See, Jason, my sister and I may not always get along... But she's still my family. Do you really think you can manipulate my sister into giving you what you want, break her heart, and then just hop over here? What, did you think I'd pat you on the back and say 'good job'?"

Spade shrugs his shoulders, as if that's exactly what he expected. Jackson Wright chuckles.

"Well, Jason, you could not be more wrong. I'm not going to sign you, buddy. I'm gonna send your ass right back to Octane, and you're gonna face the music. But fair warning... My sister isn't going to be as nice about it as I am."

The crowd cheers. Spade points at Jackson and begins shouting at him, but he can't be heard over the crowd.

"Get this piece of trash out of my ring."

Cero and Zaccardi immediately step forward, starting down the entrance ramp. Spade gets into a fighting stance, shouting at the members of the Wright Hand to bring it on. Cero and Zaccardi enter the ring, but as soon as they cross the ropes, Spade slides under the bottom rope on the opposite side of the ring, prompting a chorus of boos from the fans. Spade hops the barricade, and the cameras pick up his parting words to wright.

"You're gonna regret this, Jack! You just pissed away the biggest opportunity you'll ever get!"

Security grabs Spade and begins to escort him out as the crowd cheers. The scene cuts to commercial break.
