The Last One Alive

*Shou Rong wakes up on her bed and her neck is extremely tender and sore. RVW walks in with cups of tea for both of them.*

Shou Rong: How is your arm feeling?

RVW: I should be asking that about your neck.

Shou Rong: I'll live, just a bit stiff.

*Shou Rong takes a cup of tea and RVW sits next to them*

RVW: I should've listened to you....I wish I listened to you.

*Shou laughs a bit*

Shou Rong: It's that friendly attitude you posses. Not like we could've seen past that Riot's awkward smile and infectious positivity. I mean I couldn't see much when she tried to gouge my eyes out but...you get what I mean.

RVW: Yeah, I do...

*RVW and Shou sip on their tea for a bit while Shou holds their neck in pain. RVW puts down her tea.*

RVW: Sit on the ground. I can rub your neck for you.

*Shou sits on the ground as RVW gets to work rubbing on Shou's neck to try and give Shou some relief from their injured neck*

RVW: What is the plan now?

*Shou looks off into space for a bit*

Shou Rong: I must stop Ashley Riot.

RVW: Yeah. The both of us need to sto-

Shou Rong: Not the both of us...I need to.

RVW: What do you mean?

Shou Rong: I don't have long left in wrestling and taking moves like that will not only shorten my career but also shorten my life. I need to stop Ashley Riot by myself. This is bigger than her betraying our trust Rada.

RVW: What if she tries to injure you again? You could die in that ring!

*Shou looks down at her hands and looks up*

Shou: Like my father always said when he trained me for kickboxing. 战斗到死比活着放弃更光荣。(It is more honorable to fight to the death than to give up alive.) This is my lively hood. This is my passion. I need to stop Ashley Riot. And Rada.

*Shou turns around and grabs RVW's hand*

Shou Rong: Promise me...that you will not get involved. Let me handle Ashley Riot. I will not let what she did go without consequences.

RVW: But Shou...I can't lose you again. I can't lose another friend. I don't want to be alone again!

Shou Rong: No matter what happens. I will always be here for you. Please Rada, just don't engage Ashley Riot.

*RVW pauses for a bit. Shou and RVW's heartbeats are fast and they look into each other's eyes. RVW nods her head*

RVW: Ok...Ok...I will stay out of it Shou.

Shou Rong: Thank you Rada. You made the right choice. Now just...relax...I got a long road to walk with Riot...Ashley Riot will not escape what she did to me!

*RVW and Shou embrace each other as we fade to black*
