Match Card

Opening Match
Nathan Willis Vs Dave Skylark
A rematch from four days ago on episode 29 of NXT where Dave Skylark came so close to beating Nathan Willis, after spending the entire match working the arm, all he needed was to lock in one of his lethal submissions. For Willis, he'll be looking to prove the critics wrong who say he can't do the job on big shows by beating the man he beat four days ago again here tonight in the opening match of NXT Containment.

NXT Tag Team Championship Match
The United Kingdom(c) Vs The R 'n' L Express
The United Kingdom looking to defend their titles again here tonight, this time against The R 'n' L Express whom they successfully defended against last month at NXT Contingency, will The R 'n' L Express be able to finally win the big one, they've had another bad month this past month, but what a way to cap it off if they can walk out of NXT Containment with the NXT Tag Team Championships.

Singles Action
Chris Adams Vs Jaymes Landon Vain
The two most promising upstarts here in NXT, they have had solid matches together in the month they've both been here, Chris Adams won both, however JLV was never part of the pinfall, well tonight, he will be, as these two promising upstarts fight for a spot in a battle royal qualification match for next Months King of the Ring at NXT Velocity. Which Rookie will get the important win here tonight?

Tag Team Action
American Justice & Dallas Space Vs Ryan Fosse & Blizzard
The team thrown together by Kane, the NXT General Manager. Dallas Space and American Justice must defeat Ryan Fosse and Blizzard here tonight in tag action if they want the one on one match they so desperately desire. However Fosse and Blizzard will not just lay down, as two spots in the King of the Ring Tournament next month at NXT Velocity are on the line, and the winning team completely skips the qualification phase and heads straight into the tournament to fight their partner in the first round. Of course the winner of the tournament becomes the first ever Television Champion. Will Dallas Space and American Justice be able to put aside their differences and work as a cohesive unit, or will Ryan Fosse and Steve Blizzard pick up the upset!

European Championship Cage Match
Bryan Novak(c) Vs Boso The Magnificent
Boso, finally getting a singles opportunity at a title, he is a former European Champion, the first ever European Champion, lost it to Novak after holding it for a month back at NXT Unchained four months ago, he'll be looking to take advantage of the poor month that Bryan Novak has been having and get the win here tonight and become a two time European Champion, however, Novak will be no pushover, he does come into this with some good momentum after beating the NXT Champion this past Wednesday on NXT, and so it should be a very well contested back and forth match.

NXT Championship Hell in a Cell
Son of Sheik Vs Eric Matthews Vs JustIN Sane
This time last month, Son of Sheik was considered a jobber, a pushover, but look at him now, he became Mr Money in the Bank this time last month and went on to cash in the briefcase on the fallout of NXT Contingency to win his first ever piece of gold here in Communiverse. His opponents are both former NXT Champions, JustIN Sane is a two time champion, looking to become a three time here tonight, he's the longest reigning Champion holding it from NXT Slammiversary to the fallout of NXT Contingency when he lost it to Eric Matthews. Speaking of Eric Matthews, he's the third and final competitor in this match, after months and months of trying to get into the main event title picture he finally made it when he beat JustIN Sane, busted open and bloody, he had won the title, but then Son of Sheik cashed in and made his title reign shortlived he'll be looking to win back the gold in tonights co Main Event!

Main Event
Kane Vs Ryan Kent
A rematch from NXT Contingency in which the NXT General Manager Kane, was dominated by Ryan Kent, this time Kane has sworn he will get the win, in an Extreme Rules match. Ryan Kent will surely have to pull out something new to put away Kane in tonight's Main Event. This feud has bee going on for months, and it will finally, finally, end here tonight at NXT Containment, who will walk out with the win? Kane, or Ryan Kent?

Son of Sheik is going to rekt Justin Sane and Generic Matthews, he's going to make them his slaves.

Nathan Willias vs. Dave Skylark: *** ½
Enjoyed the match and it was cool to see Skylark bounce back from the previous loss. He was relentless with the submissions, perhaps desperate not to have Willis defeat him two times in a row. Eventually it paid off for him, and you’ll have to wonder how Nathan feels about not getting the job done at a ppv once again.

United Kingdom vs. R ‘n’ L Express: ****
Fun tag match that was definitely a step up from the last PPV  tag as The Express put up a much bigger fight. Still, it never looked like The UK were in any danger of losing the match and they continue their dominant reign in entertaining fashion.

Chris Adams vs. JLV: *****
Awesome match and I have to say that I even enjoyed the match-ending finisher teases with JLV failing to win by sub and then kicking out of Adams’ fin. This was a truly fun, exciting, back and forth match and I loved the tease with the Hurricanrana pin late into the match.  These two men gave it their all. It definitely got intense toward the end, and it came down to the final move with Adams reversing a sig/fin but JLV just beat him to the punch to end the match.

American Justice/Dallas Space vs. Blizzard/Ryan Fosse: ***
Tentatively giving this an average rating as I was in and out for most of it, though it didn’t seem to be anything mindblowing from the bits I was able to catch.

Bryan Novak vs. Boso: ****
Four stars just for it not being disastrously long. Both men put up a hell, and you can certainly make the argument that Boso was in control for most of the match, but a well-times Bullhammer was all he needed to keep Boso down long enough to win the match.

Justin Sane vs. Son of Sheik vs. (Gen)Eric Matthews: ** ¾
Match was hurt by the length as it really, really, really dragged on. It also gets knocked down a star or so by not making any memorable use of the cell. The ending, as abrupt (yet desperately needed) as it was, did make sense within the context of the match and how much Matthews had endured up until that point. Once again, SoS takes advantage of a wounded, bloody Matthews, and you have to wonder how he’d fare if it was just them two alone.

Kane vs. Ryan Kent: *** ½
Good match, but not great. A little more back and forth than the lost, but the younger, handsomer Kent was still too much for Kane to handle. Kane kicking out of the Landing Clash was a nice dramatic moment, and for a moment it looked like he would put away his old nemesis before he escaped to RAW. Unfortunaly, Kent hit a monster clothesline, turning Kane inside out and that was all she wrote for NXT’s GM.
