Smiling in defeat means jack shit when you have no place in the UFC. Words and actions are two different things. He is done. The dude he fought was/is a nobody and got beat he is garbage man. There is no ending where CM Punk comes out on top. Let's all wait another 2 years before he fights again. Not gonna happen. He is done. As embarrassing as that was I would be urprised to see that cunt try and fight again.
