NXT Ep. 48 Card

Kryminal will be in action here tonight, but against whom? Will it be another new guy in NXT or just a mystery opponent from Kane, we'll have to find out. Kryminal is yet to have a match booked at Nightmare before Twystmas and so he'll need all the momentum he can get, picking up some wins is the best way to get on Kane's radar.

It has been announced, that at Nightmare before Twistmas that the NXT Tag Team Championships will be defended, however, with a twist. Four teams will be split in half and placed into two separate fatal four ways. The winners of the four ways will face off, meaning The Patriots may not even have a chance to defend, and so they'll need as much momentum as possible leading into the matches. The Authority are the second team involved in the four ways and so will be facing the NXT Tag Team Champions here tonight in Tag Action.

Boso is using his title match contract that he won from Vegas in the Pre-Show of NXT Showdown, Boso has of course already had a shot at Novak, back at NXT Containment, and he was not able to win the gold. However Novak was beaten by Justice last week on NXT, so potentially Boso believes that Novak is weak as of now, cashing in his Title match opportunity. Can he become a two time European Champion? Or will Novak again retain.

Lorin Seoul gained some good momentum last week when he beat Chad Vegas, and is now looking to get even more by putting down a former two time NXT Champion in the form of Eric Matthews. However Matthews won't just lay down for Seoul, he's yet to have a match booked on the Nightmare before Twistmas Pay Per View, and so will be looking to build some momentum and get on the final card of the year.

In tonights Main Event, the NXT General Manager Kane has put the two men who teamed against The Authority last week on NXT against eachother. No matter what the outcome is, Kane will be happy, as he dislikes both Richard Thunder and Dallas Space, and will be hoping for a colossal main event between the two of them.
