The Visit

Tim LaFave; on his last day of mandatory stay at the Newark University Hospital in New Jersey, was sitting up in his bed enjoying some Tapioca Pudding. The bandage finally removed from his head. As was enjoying his snack pack the door to the room opened and the air became cold and dead. Tim recognized the familiar aura of the person who just walked in.

???
This is how you spend your time recovering? Eating food. Pathetic.

Tim remained silent.

The person walks over to the stand next to Tim's electric bed and notices flowers and "Get Well Soon" cards.

???
What have you become?

Again Tim said nothing.

The mysterious entity leans in next to Tim.

???
Nothing, Tim. You're nothing. You were always nothing and you'll always be nothing.

Tim looks down, not even attempting to look at this demeaning figure in the face.

???
Maybe if you hadn't let that failure of a woman train you, you'd be better off. Do you think?

Tim winces painfully as if he was punched in the stomach as the mystery figure faces away from Tim.

???
And look at you, won't even stand up to me. Nothing's changed.

From the hallway a loud and obnoxious voice can be heard as they enter Tim's room.

♪ Ti~m's getting out so you better get this party started! ♪

Shiloh stops dead when he sees the person relentlessly laying into Tim. All joy draining from his face and anger quickly taking over.

What the hell are you doing here?

The person scoffs.

???
Just paying a visit. I was on my way out.

Shiloh Gray
Get stepping.

The person puts their hands up and brushes passed Shiloh and Isiah. Key looking awfully confused. Once he has left, Shiloh rushes to the clearly shaken bed side of Tim.

Shiloh Gray
Tim. Tim! TIM! What did he say?

The scene closes as Tim sits in silence, disturbed by the lone visitor.
