CMV UnMatched Card: Ep. 29 (#199)

On a night full of debuts and returns on this, the fallout of Showdown, we kick off the show with two debuting Superstars going head to head in singles action as Jon Richards and Lance Barker both look to kick off their CMV career with a win. This match may not seem like much in the grand scheme of things, but years down the line we can look back and see where these two young men came from, where it all started.

Both The Gladiators and The Wanderers had a rough month last month, but with every month is a clean slate and they'll be looking to get back on winning ways and head towards the Title Picture, unfortunately for them, SOMEBODY has to take the fall tonight, but who will it be, The Wanderers or The Gladiators..

Up next we hit up another debuting Superstar as Ethan Kashima looks to take on the cruiserweight superkid Michael Pratt in what is sure to be an exciting matchup, as is all of Pratts matches. But tonight could we see Pratt pick up a much needed win, or will Kashima come in here and run right through him?!

While not exactly a new face to CMV fans, he is a new face on the scene on UnMatched, one of the draft picks looks to make his debut tonight in the form of Marcus Akane, however standing in his way is quite the tall order as the former Tag Team Champion and Season One Veteran Booker Phillips looks to climb the ladder and potentially snatch up one of those Elimination Chamber spots.

At Showdown we saw Parker come to the aid of Luther Thunder in his attempt to reclaim the CMV European Championship, and tonight, they rebuilt The Thunder Circus from the ground up. But can Parker come back to UnMatched following an 18 month hiatus with a win or will Phillip Melick say otherwise. A clash of backgrounds takes place tonight as the War Hero Phillip Melick takes on the Deranged Lunatic, Parker.

In Tonights Co-Main Event we see Solomon Glock coming fresh off of his first European Championship Defense go toe to toe with a former European and Television Champion in Leo Cruz, Glock has been incredibly dominant as of late and he'll be looking to continue this as he marches into UnChained, however he will be going up against a very hungry Leo Cruz tonight who sniffs that Elimination Chamber down the line, and a chance to get back in the World Title picture and win here over Glock would certainly back up his claim.

In tonights Main Event, we see the former Two Time CMV World Champion, The Gate City God, take on his former Stablemate turned arch nemesis in the form of Jaymes Landon Vain who returned this past Sunday at Showdown. With DSD coming up to his third Elimination Chamber in just four weeks, he needs to keep his momentum high and stay out of harms way, but with Sunshine on the prowl that may be easier said than done as JLV will be looking to return to his home in glorious fashion.
