CMV UnMatched Card: Ep. 1 (#136)

After unleashing the crazed maniac from Fusion onto the CMV World Heavyweight Champion in the Main Event of iMPLOSION just three nights ago, Kane is looking to kick off his second tenure as the General Manager of UnMatched with a bang, by showing off his new toy of destruction to the world, but can Sunshine be tamed so easily by the Big Red Machine?

In the first of two Vixens matches on tonights show we see a top contender for the CMV Womens Intercontinental Championship in the form of Ashleigh Infinitee team up with the former Champion to take on Dirty Diana, a top contender for the CMV Womens Championship, and the former Champion Lexin Damjen. It'll be interesting to see how these pairs do as a team considering both teams have fought their partners within the last week.

John Briarwood is coming off of the biggest win of his life after beating Zack Starr at iMPLOSION just three nights ago and finally earning his big payday. However tonight another challenge steps in his way in the form of the former CMV European Champion Blizzard who'll be looking to bounce back with a win following his loss at iMPLOSION, he'll be looking to cash in his rematch clause in the meantime and will want to walk away with a big win tonight.

Both of these men have had very similar starts to the year, they've both had one huge moment surrounded by a lot of abysmal ones, Jaymes Landon Vain suffered crushing defeats at the hands of D'Angelo St. Daniels at the top of the year, while August Happytown struggled to pick up momentum following his Royal Rumble win. But now with iMPLOSION out of the way and seemingly all of the pressure gone, now is their chance to get back on track.

After an absolute screwjob by the hands of a mystery man at iMPLOSION causing the referee to mess up the match stipulation and therefore costing The Hungry Cats their chance at the gold they'll be looking to pick up where they left off with a win over a pair of former CMV Tag Team Champions in the form of The Stylists who are also looking to get back into the thick of things following Kevin Styles return to action.

Erik Bolstad was a huge favourite going into the European Championship Ladder Match at iMPLOSION with a whopping 45% of the Universe behind him, however it wasn't his night as he was unable to scale the ladder and pull down the gold. His opponent tonight however, was at the top of his game at iMPLOSION and became the new CMV European Champion because of it. Bolstad has taken down a European Champion before, can he do it again tonight?

In tonights Main Event, the two new Champions in the Vixens Division go head to head in a match where both Vixens will want to kickoff their title reigns with a big win. However it will not be easy for either Vixen, coming out of wars three days ago at iMPLOSION with Samantha Steel overcoming the odds in a Hell in a Cell match and Sophia Gibson overcoming Lexin Damjen.
