Furious Respect

Part way through the evening in Tupelo, Mississippi and the crowd have just been treated to a great tag team title match between two top teams. Kevin Lee kneels on the floor, blood on his face from the cut inflicted to him from the "By the Cars Horn" from Bob Storm, as Tim LaFave slides back into the ring to check on his friend and partner. They stand up and turn around to see the Fast and Furious standing right on top of them.
Bob and Frank both reach out grabbing Tim and Lee and raise their arms in the air.
The crowd go wild as all 4 men stand center ring arms raised, 2 previous champions and 2 new champions.

Ahuh the fans loved it... They certainly did. Two favorites, two fantastic teams put it on the line. With all their hands raised, it was almost like a passing of the torch from T and Lee.

As the hands go down, Tim hugs Lee, whispers something gay in his ear, and they pat backs.

But... As Lee is facing the ramp he sees his face on the titantron, dripping with blood. He pushed Tim off... And begins pacing. He looks back at Tim... He looks at Fast and Furious holding the Tag Team Titles...

Tim, slightly confused, begins to try to console his brother.

Kevin Lee wipes his hands on his forehead... And stares at the blood for a good... You know... Like... 3 seconds.

His eyes become cold as he looks to the victors of the battle. Their eyes widen, anticipating his next move. He looks to Tim who is still trying to calm him down. Seconds turn to moments... And Lee regains his composure.

He motions to the Storm for the belt and mouths the words, "Can I say Goodbye?"

Bob, being Good-Guy Bob Storm, hands the belt to Kevin Lee. Lee wipes his hand on his forehead again, and spears blood on the gold. He delivesr the belt back while staring in his eyes.

"Let's go" he says to Tim, extends the 'you first' and let's his partner exit the ring.

As FNF is a little confused by The Doctor's actions, and Tim walking up the ramp... He identifies the perfect time.

Blood trickling down, he gathers the last ounce of strength in his body.. And snaps. Not hypothetically, not figuratively... He literally snaps to his fighting stance:

Then snaps a roundhouse kick to Bob Storms face.

Frank has no patience for it and begins pummeling... The beaten, worn Kevin Lee collapses and gets smashed over and over.

Good guy Tim is torn. As Lee proceeds to attack the two men he respects the most. Tim has a choice to make, protect those two men or join his true-blue blood brother in battle one last time. A split-second passes before Tim finalizes his decision. LaFave sprints into the war between the three men and puts Kevin Lee in a full-nelson.

No! Kevin! Not like this! We're XGEN! We're not monsters.

Kevin can't think, he can't breath, all he wants to do is beat down the Fast 'n' Furious. He struggles and wildly flails in Tim's grasp.

We're good people! Never compromise, not even in the face of Armageddon. Remember who you are!

Kevin flails wildly for a few more seconds before coming to a rest. Bob and Frank now outside the ring stare worriedly at who they thought they could trust. Without being told and with complete faith and trust, he releases him.

Lee wipes his forehead once more and stares at the new tag team champions and nods... But with these actions, Lee has exposed an entirely new side to him. But what does it mean? Only time will tell as for possibly the last time, T & Lee roll out of the ring and up the ramp... together.
