Don't Cross the Boss

Just before edition number thirty-one of Monday night Fusion comes onto the air, we're greeted by the smiling face of one, Triple H, who's lounging in what looks like the back of a lavish jet, sipping on some cool fine wine. The COO of CMV clears his throat, passing his glass off to a little hotty who's eagerly waiting on him. He cracks another smile and she giggles, Hunter now focusing on the camera.

Ahhh, folks, ladies and gentleman, guys and gals, I'm on my way to the arena for episode thirty-one of Monday night Fusion right now, should be there within the hour. And I know that you're all SO excited to see me, but, well, I just couldn't wait to share this news with you! You know, ALL WEEK LONG, the CMV universe has been pointed the finger at me for what Quantum did to Hayden last week, "oh, he ordered the hit" and "oh, he payed off the doctors to claim that Hayden's been injured". WHAT!? YOU ALL SAW IT WITH YOUR OWN EYES, the medical team issued an actual report stating that Kiteley was hurt! AND HE WAS! But oh, no, Hayden's just too big of a man to take the rest of the night off, no, HE HAS TO CARRY ON WRECKING THE REST OF MY SHOW! Trying to prove a point? What point!? I DIDN'T COMMAND QUANTUM TO DO ANYTHING!!! . . . But, you see, The Cyborg Invitational is a VERY big deal here in CMV, and every competitor in it has GOT TO be at one hundred percent to put on the best show humanily possible. So, it's with a heavy, HEAVY heart, that I simply MUST remove Mr. Kiteley from this tournament and replace him with someone who can do just that . . . Someone, hmm, someone, LIKE QUANTUM!!! Oh yes, but hey, I'm a fair man and I know that Hayden wants his revenge. So I'll give it to him! Next week on Saturday night Genesis, Quantum will go one on one, with HAYDEN!!!

Triple H begins to laugh wildly, and he's joined by another man's laughter, but there's only two other people on this jet, the pilot and the waitress, both of whom are female . . .
