A War Worth Fighting
As the CMV universe scrambles to get to their seats LIVE on Thursday night Genesis, the big screen lights up with the image of a smiling Dave Turner, and honestly, what's not to smile about for him? Validation saw a clean sweep from him boys, putting down nine of Monday night Fusion's absolute best, capturing the Anarchy title for his brand, proving that his show is the dominant one, and most importantly; keeping his job as general manager. The CMV Hall of Famer welcomes the audience members and those watching at home to the sixty-seventh edition of his beloved program, standing in front of his desk with his arms crossed, behind him sits what looks to be a white board with a black sheet covering it.

Ah, I'm not a man to brag, no I never have been, not throughout my entire in-ring career and I'm not gonna start now. Sampson, you brought your very best to the dance, and it was one hell of a fight, but at the end of the day, my boys proved that Thursday night Genesis is THE brand in sports entertainment, and that's the bottom line, my friend. Now, we look to the future, a bright and promising future might I add, a future that I'm beyond thrilled to help shape. The Genesis locker room had my back at Validation, some of us might not have been on the same page for a while there, but when it came to it, we all fought side by side.
Why? Because this one was a war worth fighting, that's why. A common goal united us, and partnership paved the way for success and above all else, kept this show away from the clutches of tyranny. My boys helped me in keeping my job as their general manager, they didn't have to, no not at all. But they did, they stood together and sent those Fusion lads crying to their mamas! Now, I promised them something in return, I did and I intend on keeping my promise.
So here's how it's going to go ladies and gentleman, everyone in the back listen up, Jon Reed, you were a big part of Genesis winning that Tug of War match, and beyond that you've been on quite the tear this season. So to you, a shot at the CMV International title is what you've more than earned. And that match will take place in four week's time at Point Break; Jon Reed versus Randy Borton!
Now, I surely would not be standing here if it weren't for one man, who dragged Genesis across the finish line when things were looking dim. Bison, you're a whole different kind of wild, a beast no doubt. A season one veteran who has never held a World title just seems criminal to me, and so at Point Break, you'll get your chance to finally break through that glass ceiling, when you battle another Team Genesis member in Ryan Kent, for the number one contendership to the Alpha World championship!
Oh, but I'm not done, speaking of the Alpha World title, my two captains, Furious Frank and Bob Luger, both lost in the Tug of War via countout, but they still whipped this team into shape leading up to the final battle. And so, what I know the CMV universe is dying to see, it'll be Bob Luger challenging Furious Frank for the belt at Point Break!
I'm not finished though, because it wasn't only the nine men this past Sunday who carried this brand to victory, no, it was the entire locker room, every single superstar on Genesis was a part of this war, and so I would like to announce a special treat for you the fans, who were also just as big a part of this team as anyone else, a sixteen man Light Heavyweight championship tournament!
Turner rips off the black sheet that was covering the white board, revealing the following!
