Nick Blake: "What makes Ryan Kent so good?"
When Genesis returns from a commercial break, Nick Blake and Zack Cage are both standing in the ring.
-Nick Blake-
You guys were all watching last week's right? All this hype about how good Extreme Conditions is "supposed" to be...How is it then that me and Zack Cage beat them without breaking a sweat?
If it wasn't for this unfinished business we have with a fella by the name of Ryan Kent, we'd be throwing our names into the mix and it would be us walking out of Regicide with the tag team championships.
You hear that?
Shhhhh
Listen, guys.
It's the sound of the winds of change.
It's the sound of things picking up for Zack. When you align yourself with Cole Savage, failure is no longer part of your vocabulary. It's just setbacks. Failure is a mindset that can torpedo careers. A setback is just a minor nuisance that will ALWAYS be overcome.
What happened against Chris Andrews was a fluke because of the actions of a crooked ref who thought HE knew what Zack's breaking point is. It was all part of the plan, let Andrews tire himself out, then unleash hell for the remainder of the match. Too bad we never got that chance and now the Bloody Brit, if that's even where he's really from, has run back to Fusion with his tail tucked between his legs and the title stuffed so far up his ass that it's not worth digging around to win it back.
Cage shakes his head and holds his nose.
-Nick Blake-
We've moved on to Ryan Kent, a man who had the audacity to threaten Cole Savage's life. These kids, man, I tell you--no respect for their elders. That's why we're going to beat that respect into him. Where does Zack Cage fit into all of this? Well it makes him sick to his stomach that Ryan Kent has achieved so much by doing so little. It is a crime that Zack has worked so hard throughout the entirety of his career and only has one title to show for it. What makes Ryan Kent so good? Because he leeched onto X-Gen? Because he has a catchy nickname? That's not right. If Zack got even one-sixteenth and a half of the chances that Kent's gotten, it would be Zack that would be grand slam champion right now.
At Regicide we're going to prove just that when Zack either pins Kent or makes him tap out right in the middle of the ring.
