Media Lounge Absolution Kickoff!

We are live on the Absolution kickoff show as Lisa Evans stands by for an exclusive interview with the CMV United States champion, Xander Slate, in the media lounge. The OG Dirty Heel sits with his title draped over one shoulder and acting as if he holds another belt on his other shoulder, prompting Evans to ask:

Evans
Ugh, what are you doing?

Xander seems offended by the question, sighing as he replies:

Slate
Huh, looks like I'm mimicking what it'll be like once I win the CMV Undisputed championship, right Lisa?

She clears her throat as he shakes his head, the camera man counting down from five as Evans brings in the segment:

Evans
Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the Absolution kickoff show LIVE on Facebook and Youtube, Lisa Evans here currently joined by the CMV United States champion, Xander Slate, in the media lounge! Don't forget, the very first pay-per-view of 2019, Absolution, begins in just under thirty minutes, and you can watch it for only 8.99$ on the CMV Network! So, Mr. Slate, are you ready to answer some of the CMV universe's questions?

The Show scoffs, raising an eyebrow towards Lisa before exclaiming:

Slate
Oh yeah, I'm super thrilled for what will no doubt be some super intellectual questions from the fans of CMV, known world wide for their high IQ's.

Lisa smile awkwardly

Evans
He he, right, well, ugh, here's your first question from @GiveRexCarterAChance, he says, and I quote, Xander, why are you SO bad?

Slate has an annoyed look on his face as he turns to Lisa.

Slate
Really? That's the first one that you pick to share? Honestly? Are you dumb?

Evans gulps, brushing her hair out of her eyes, quickly moving on.

Evans
Right, next question, coming to us from @WhoMe?, he asks, Xander, after Rhys Matthews' recent victory over you on Monday night Fusion, do you feel as though he deserves to face you in a title match?

The champ yawns, and then cracks a smirk, having a cheeky giggle.

Slate
Ugh, sorry honey, that win didn't count, I clearly kicked out at 2.9999 but the referee must have been blind! Rhys Matthews? My title? Rhys? Title? Ha ha, don't make me laugh out loud, Lisa, I think that everyone has already forgotten that he was the Undisputed champion just two weeks ago. Matthews hardly deserves to kiss the ground that I grace with my boots, let alone be in the ring with me or get a crack at my belt! Rhys Matthews calls himself “The Exception”? Yeah, that's pretty accurate considering that I'd let just about anyone else on the Fusion roster get a shot at my championship EXCEPT him, he he, you see what I did there . . .? Eh, next question, forget that LOSER!

Lisa smiles for the camera but underneath it you can clearly tell that she's hating this.

Evans
Okay, we have time for just one more question, let's see, ah, here's a good one! From @BringBackMan-Wolf, kinda a question and a statement, but he writes, Xander, good luck in the Rumble tonight, if you win, which title would you go for? BTW, Schmidty sucks!

Xander laughs, titling his head back and going a bit overboard with his reaction to this tweet.

Slate
OH, ha ha, he he, I'm- woo, sorry, yeah, Schmidty does suck, huh? But, moving on, ugh, what's that? IF I win tonight? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, there's no IF, I AM winning the Royal Rumble match here at Absolution, that's just a straight fact, son, like how dogs can't look up. And isn't it obvious? WHEN I win tonight, I don't care if it's ole boy Shitty the Kid himself or The Boring Brit, at Ascendance, in the main event, I'm gonna walk in with this strap firmly around my waist, and then I'm gonna walk out with both shoulder decked out in that sweet, sweet gold, baby! So, if you'll excuse me, I'd like to go and prepare for that glorious victory of mine, catch ya later, Evans.

Xander pops up out of his chair and struts off screen, Lisa welcoming her next guest here in the media lounge.

As Xander leaves, Jon Reed and Afterlife walks in and take a seat. Lisa shakes hands with Reed, and Afterlife but he just stands there staring at the camera.

Jon:
Sorry, he doesn't do the whole interaction stuff unless it in match.

Lisa:
Oh ok. Jon anyways thank you for joining us. We had the CMV Universe tweet using #AskReed and here are some of the questions. Are you ready?

Jon:
I guess. I would like to hurry this up to get back to Kaiva to talk strategy against Guri tonight.

Lisa:
Ok, let's start then. The first question is from @CroweBoy3 Will The Fallen ever reunite? #AskReed. So Jon, will The Fallen ever reunite?

Jon sighs at the mere question.

Jon:
I get this question alot on the streets. People come up to me and ask if me and Crowe will patch things up and team again. Do you know what the next thing that comes out of there mouth is. The say that Crowe was there favorite. So No, CroweBoy we won't reunite, cause I am the better of us and people like you like that self righteous son of a bit...

Jon pauses and calms down.

Sorry Lisa. We won't reunite, and would I. I am leading the newest faction to the top of Genesis.

Lisa:
Ok. Let's move on. I see that is a sensitive topic. Ok next question from @TopherKid he asks, After beating Guri, you got double booked for Absolution. How do you plan on keeping your stamina strong going into the Rumble. #AskReed.

Jon:
Well, TopherKid. Guri Sokanov, is an easy opponent to beat. So my club will have no problems defeating him to night. Let's just say I have a secret going into the Rumble match.

Lisa:
Ok, one last question, @TheLoganLucas If you fail tonight, what next. #AskReed. Thats a weird question.

Jon:
Oh Logan. You always are doubting me. Sorry Lisa. Logan is an old friend, well he not a friend. Either way, Logan. I am not Crowe. I am not failing tonight.

Reed stands up and begins to walk out of the studio. Afterlife follows him.

Lisa:
Thanks I guess for joining us.

Lisa Evans: Oh god I'm outta here!!!

Marcantel and Mindy then comes in the frame as Lisa goes in the opposite direction, staying away from
Marcantel.

Marcantel: The Royal Rumble, I have quite a history with it. I have a pretty decent time in a Royal Rumble match, and I hold the record for most eliminations. That just proves what I am capable of, and what I will do to win. Whether I enter early or late, I will make an impact, and none of my opponents will be the same. I will conquer Bison, I will conquer Borton, Meyers, Fatal Decision, and if he's in the ring with me I will conquer everyone's favorite to win, Paul Divine!!

Marcantel: Soon starts tonight......Soon is Now.

Both Marcantel and Mindy then exit the frame together as Lisa sneaks back in.

As Lisa sits quietly in her lounge, she hears commotion in the hallway. Glancing out the door, she sees Schmidty's entourage which has now been enhanced by quite the security team, walking by with Schmidty in the center. Not wanting to miss out on this opportunity, she catches him in the hall.

Lisa Evans
Schmidty! Do you mind if I get a few words before your big match tonight?

Schmidty and the rest of the gang stop, all eyes on Lisa, except for Schmidty's. That is until he chuckles to himself and turns to her.

Schmidty
You startled me Lisa.

The firm and hushed tone in his voice intimidated her, causing her to stumble on her words.

Lisa Evans
Uhh....i'm so....i'm sorry sir I was just wondering....

Schmidty
If you could interview me. The most important man on Fusion.

She nods her head.

Schmidty
No you can't. Because you're fired.

Lisa's eyes widen as she tries to find any sign's in Schmidty's facial expression that tell her he's joking. But after several seconds, it seems obvious he's not.

Schmidty
Security, two of you escort Miss Evans out of here please.

And with that, Lisa Evans, holding back her tears, is escorted out of the building.

Schmidty
Well, I already got a replacement. James. Get in there you.

James smiles and walks straight into the media lounge as Schmidty and the rest of his crew head to their destination.

Watching his step, Elijah crosses by Marcantel on the way in. He then looks on to Lisa who is still a bit on edge after seeing Marcantel and Mindy.

Elijah

Hey why so jumpy Lisa. Ya look like you've seen a ghost.

Elijah sits down while talking to Lisa. He smirks and Lisa gves him one back. The two being good friends, they already were used to joking with each other.

Lisa

Well, nice to have you here Eli. Any of you guys out there that wanna ask a question, I want you to #AskGV. I do have a question of my own. How does it feel to be in this position?

Elijah

It's gonna be electric out there. Absolution is one of the biggest PPVs in CMV. Not only am I competing here, but also I have atitle match. This is one of those moments that I will never forget, whether i win or lose.

Lisa

Looks like we've got our first fan question. @JordanTucker asks, "Will you be in the Rumble and do you plan on winning it?"

Elijah

It's on of those things were being here is great,but it isn't good enough. I want to win the International Title. And if I don't I want to go to Ascendance. I can not say that I will though. I know I should have more confidence, but at the same time I want to stay humble. You see Lisa, I remeber syrup sandwiches and crime allowances. Finessing a n-

Lisa

I think that's enough Elijah. You're next question reads, "Do you think Pierre will be your toughest challenger?"

Elijah

Honestly I can't answer this as of now. My toughest opponent has been my brother DJ. You can argue that, but he is the one person who taught me most of what I know, he knows my weaknesses and tendances. You saw me hit his move, Bloodline, off a ladder to Jay Davis at Home Coming.

Lisa

Speaking of Jay Davis we have a tweet from @GuriFan99 that says, "If you represent Good Vibes, than how could you attack Jay Davis with that car?"

Elijah

Look her GuriFan99, you're not gonna use my name this way. I had no reason to do that to Jay. Quite frankly, is big mouth is probably what got him hit. I don't approve of what happened, but It's hard to feel sorry for someone like him.

Lisa sees how Elijah has gotten off of that one question and decides to wrap things up.

Lisa

Okay, last question, "What are your intentions tonight at Absolution?"

Elijah

I would hope I to win either the title or the rumble. My main focus is to go out there and entertain my Stewies. I want them to feel like this was worth paying for. Well nice being here Lisa, I gotta prepare for my match, see ya.

Mac : And we are live at Staples Center, in Los Angeles, California for the 1st PPV of 2019…. Are you ready to Rumble, that’s right it’s the Royal Rumble where 30 top CMV superstars battle it out, and the winner goes onto main event the grandest stage of them all at Ascendance V. But who will be the CMV Undisputed Champion, on one hand we have co-owner of Monday Night Fusion, a former United States Champion… He won the mini Rumble although he “drew” the last spot to become the Challenger for The Bloody Brit’s Championship……Or will it be Chris Andrew’s, he’s done it all, Tag Champ, International Champ, Anarchy Champ twice and currently the Undisputed Champion of the world….. However he’s been through some wars as of late and his ribs cannot be fully healed, but we all know how Brit works….No shits and no fucks….. Tonight… the road to Ascendance begins…..HOLY FUCK…..

Chris Andrews is driving a quad backstage and almost runs over Mac Thompson… Brit hits the breaks and jumps down…

Brit : Hey watch where you’re standing mate, you might get run over.

Mac : What in tarnations…

Brit : Ah calm down, I was inches away from ya, I could have been closer…. Where’s Lisa by the way, sick of seeing you, no offence.

Mac : Ummm she was fired by Schmidty.

Brit : Probably jealous cuz she has bigger balls than him…

Lisa walks by crying with her bags packed.

Brit : Move mac….. Hey Lisa where ya going?

Lisa : Oh hi Chris, that asshole fired me.

Brit : No need to go though….. Fuck that guy, I’m the CMV Undisputed Champion and tonight you can be my V.I.P…. Here have a front row ticket, Ya can watch me get some Revenge on that piece of hot garbage…. Do ya need a lift to the arena before the show starts?

Lisa : Yea why not.

Brit gets back on his quad with Lisa sitting on his lap.

Brit : Hold on tight….. FOR FUCK SAKE MAC... get the hell out of the way.

Mac : Huh…..OH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTT.

After Andrews leaves and Mac runs off the interview area has become empty with just a monitor sitting in compete silence until the lights in the arena go out a poof of purple smoke appears as the lights turn back on Lex Night is shown standing alone in the media lounge decked out in his dark attire not saying a word he just glares into the camera for a good minute as creepy music starts to play

Lex then pulls a piece of paper with the words "29 Souls" written in red ink that looks like it written to mimic blood spatter he then takes out another sign written the same way that reads "Will Fall" after he drops the second sign a second poof of purple smoke appears as he vanishes in the smoke the music stops suddenly and the interview area is back to normal.
