TURNING A LEAF

*As a CMV expo event for Absolution came upon Los Angeles, a Suited up Jay Davis, alongside him Guri Sukonov, Devlin O’Brian and two of his newest signings, Ushio Takato and Lucha de Satanás. They all sit down on the stage, where they will be assigned to answer questions. The meet starts and several hands were raised. One hand was chosen by the richest man in CMV, which would be a young man, obviously working for a wrestling magazine of sorts.*

“Um...Mr.Davis, what can you tell me, or matter of fact, us your barrage of new talent coming into CMV?”

“Well 1st off we have Devlin O’Brian. This man use to work in a company that I am familiar with by the name of COH. Others, like Tone White and Saint Alaweiz, have yet to be signed due to the fact that they don’t want to be signed or are looking for something else. As for Ushio and Lucha de Satanas, they are both from Japan. Ushio from one of the biggest Japanese Promotions in the world and Lucha De Satanas from a Lucha Libre styled show.”

*As Davis ended that question, another hand was raised. A young woman, maybe a journalist.*

"This question is specifically for you, Mr. Davis. How do you feel going into the rumble?”

“...To be completely honest, I feel pretty scared going into my first ever rumble here. And my first ever rumble being “handi-capped” at most. But I’m looking to give it my all and hopefully get something out of being in the rumble.”

“You sound less arrogant about it than when you do your promos and segments and other stuff like that? Why is that?”

“I’m trying to turn another leaf in my life. I’ve been nothing but a smark, arrogant, little child in the ring. I’m tired of being in 2nd place because I chose to do something differently. I’m going to make my own path starting at Absolution. With these men and the friends and family at home. I can guarantee that.”

*As Jay ends yet another question, another hand has raised. A man in a suit called out to Davis’s attention.*

“I have a question for Davis. What will happen now that you know that Elijah Stewart and DJ Moore were behind your accidental car accident. And what evidence do you have to prove that those two men did it?”

“Look, I can tell you're obviously mad. But what I said was true. Elijah Stewart and DJ Moore were behind the car accident. I don’t know how many times I have to say it, but I’ll say it. The evidence….I don’t have evidence. All I know is that I got told by a masked man that “Family Matters”. Clearly it was them or someone who had ties with them, that tried to kill me. I’m not a liar. I’m not the boy who cried wolf, I know that it was Elijah Stewart or DJ Moore that put me in the hospital for 2 weeks. And now, I want a match with him at Purgatory. Unless the Good Vibes Kid doesn’t want to tell the truth and attack me again just like he did to DJ Moore.”

*A Heated Jay Davis get’s up from his chair and walks out, the line of talent following him, cutting the interview short.*
