He paid the price of victory over the reigning Anarchy Champion with a swift kick to the groin, but not even that can keep Diaz' spirits down now that he knows he has the champ's number.

NGW Superstar of the Week:
Rami Young
def.  Piper Foxx (c)
It came as a surprise to everyone but her when Young defeated the women's champion with her patented moonsault. Not only did that victory put her in the conversation of future title matches, but it may have inspired the other Misfits to get the job down later in the show.

Genesis Superstar of the Week:
The Rebellion (Reece Ortiz & Josh Wolf)
def. The Kingdom
"Tops, you made a very grim mistake deciding to be buddy-buddy with King. Because from here on out, anyone who is with him is against us!"
It wasn't enough to attack Fischer and threaten Pat LaFave. No, the unlikely duo of Ortiz and Wolf, backed up their words by overcoming the odds against the Kingdom in a grueling handicap match. For now, at least, it seems as though the Rebellion has those who oppose them right where they want 'em.

TZ Masss may have his own stranglehold on the NGW roster, but he and his allies learned that The Control's grip is just a little tighter, Percy Simmons & Co. edging closer to having all the gold on Fusion.

"This proves that The Misfits were counted out at every turn. We were called A joke, Laughing stocks, Weirdos, The Rat in The Hat well that's more me, but anyways, we've proven that we aren't MIS-takes. "
If you thought they were a joke before, then you're looking real silly with that egg on your face because not only did Santos and Tenra defeat the League at Checkpoint: CT for the NGW tag team championships, they did it again on Tuesday to make it clear that they're no flukes.

Genesis Superstar of the Week:
Matt Devious
def. Brett Angel
" I do just view you the same way as someone views a meal, all you are is basically something I have to devour to cure a hunger I have. That hunger, of course, is to live up to my potential and get that good old International Title you have."
Devious is locked and loaded, an intense focus directed toward his Exodus opponent Brett Angel who he pinned once again in Genesis' main event (and how big of a role his teammate Bob Luger played in that victory depends on which one of them you ask).

The father and son pairing have finally accomplished one of their goals they set when they came together by capturing the tag team championships.

She'll tell you it was easy, but we all watched as Octave narrowly escaped Justice in a spectacular bout, and got the last laugh over Piper Foxx who lost her "pick your poison" match later on in the night.

Genesis Superstar of the Week:
Pat LaFave
def. Tops Newsome & El Jefe
Somehow, someway Pat LaFave managed to defend the Alpha Championship on back to back shows, in back to back triple threats, with back to back low blows. Just when you thought his empire was crumbling, the wily veteran finds a way to live another day.

Doesn't matter if it's Stevie Wizard or Brett Curtis, Mass once again showed that he had no intentions of being a former NGW Champion any time soon.

LaFave is holding onto the Alpha Championship for dear life, battling back every challenger thrown his way with every fiber of his being, this time not even needing the feared low blow to get the job done.

He went to war with Joey Diaz on Fusion in the ring, then went to war with Bob Luger on Genesis on the mic. Percy Simmons has definitely been busy this week, but he's made sure that no matter where he is, he's always...in control.

Maybe you thought her steam was gonna run out? WRONG. Ranye continues to show she has the clutch gene running through her veins. At this point, if you don't have her coming out on top at Fasttrack, then you simply haven't been playing attention.

Genesis Superstar of the Week:
KLIQ
def. The Rebellion
"We are the BACKBONE of CMV! The foundation of Genesis. We've built this show to what it is today. And we've returned to continue our work. It doesn't matter if we're battling noobs or men with resume's as stacked as ours, we will conquer Fusion at Validation."
They'll never thank Bastion for the assist, but either way Luger & Borton scored a major win over the tag team champions which may have emboldened Luger to verbally smack down Simmons later in the night.

Their opponents have over a ten total championships between them, and Mass was coming off a tough loss at Fast Track, but it wasn't enough to distract or deter the upstarts from showing the CMV veterans that they're coming for the throne.

No, this isn't a typo, the leader of the Control stepped into the house that Bob Luger built and pooped on the rug...metaphorically. Then Simmons fought off a sneak attack by Randy Borton, showing that he's every bit as good as he says he is.

Could Diaz have won the previous two times? Perhaps. But Hoxton's shenanigans worked in his favor as he used the momentum earned from defeating Kliq at Validation to retain his Anarchy Championship inside of a steel cage.

def. Ali Bros.
Alongside George King, this duo was able to score a win for NGW at Validation, then kept their streak alive by putting down a potential challenger in a grueling contest.

Genesis Superstar of the Week:
Jaquan Shay
def. Eli Robledo
Going to back to back at Validation and Genesis, the Light Heavyweight Champion kept his reign going strong. He may have a knack for running his mouth, but as long as he holds that belt, you can't say he doesn't back it up.
