Royce Makes a Signing? Pt. IV (Does He Ever Sign Anyone Edition)

After Zack Cage's loss to Jaxon Jordan, he's seen visibily unhappy as he makes his way to his lockerroom. As he opens the door, his face is brought to immediate disdain as Raymond Royce is sitting in a chair, a smug look on his face. Raymond picks up an unfolded chair on the ground beside him and opens it for Zack to sit in, however Zack refuses.

Raymond Royce

I know you know why I'm here.

Raymond stands up to stand face-to-face with Cage. His tone however is much different than normal, instead almost delicate and welcoming.

Raymond Royce

I watched your match, from this very room, and I have to say I was actually surprised. My scouts said you had every ability in the book to win any given match. But I get it, you can't win them all.

Zack Cage

You trying to belittle me into a contract?

Raymond Royce

Nope. I'm going to lay it all out. Your a veteran, are you not?

Cage shakes his head in agreement.

Raymond Royce

You've conquered many foes, correct?

Once again, Cage shakes his head in agreement.

Raymond Royce

And you've also become Number One Contender multiple times, yes?

Cage shakes his head another time, though in frustration as it seems like these questions are going nowhere.

Raymond Royce

But have you ever done anything with those contenderships? Did you ever win a championship with them and actually become someone important?

This time, Cage shakes his head almost in anger of being reminded he has never won a big one.

Raymond Royce

That's what I'm here for, Zack. This is what I specialize in. Veterans who have the ability to get there, they just have an issue getting over the hump. I'm aware of the type of man you are and what you can and cannot accomplish, so I will not stand in your way if you still say no. But, if you say yes, if you sign with Royce Incorporated, I guarantee you can still be you. I will not stand in your way of becoming contender or step on your toes in your look or wear. All I ask, is that you let me represent you to make sure every match, non-title or otherwise, is level playing field for YOU.

Raymond follows this up with pulling a contract out of his pocket and handing it to Cage. He gives Zack a parting nod but before he can leave, his arm is grabbed and he is stopped in his tracks.

Zack Cage

And I'm going to lay it all out for YOU. Piss. Off.

With that, Zack lets go of Raymond's arm and the two have a brief staredown, before the boss makes his way out of the room causing Zack to slam his lockerroom door.
