A Cold Night In London

Jane Lucis and Casey Wilson were still celebrating in the ring, in spite of the anti-climactic way they defeated Amy Winters and Cassie Maverick. Even under the circumstances, it was still a huge victory for the Tag Team and proved their worth in the company. However, it was clear that Winters and Maverick weren't happy about their failure, for such precious momentum faded from their grasps in a single moment of controversy. Winters slowly walked to the referee and asked to retrieve her belt.

The Referee complied, walking over to the timekeeper's box and retrieving the Intercontinental Championship. He slowly walked over, presenting it to Winters with a small nod. Amy slowly reached out, but as her hand gripped onto the right side of the leather strap a second hand would grab onto the left side. The hand belonged to Cassie, who glared angrily at Winters. Amy returned the intent glare, tightening her grip on the Championship, which Maverick would respond to by also tightening her grip.

After several seconds of a hyped staring contest, Cassie Maverick would release her hold on the belt, chuckling softly as she began to walk away. Winters turned to the announce table and grabbed the microphone off the table. She turned back around and slid into the ring, leaning against the ropes and watching Maverick walk towards the ramp. She grit her teeth and held up the prized IC Title.

Amy Winters: Cassie... What happened tonight won't affect what happens at Infiltration... We still have time left before our match and I will be damned if I let it go to waste. I want this match to be something that London deserves, but I am going to guarantee one outcome to it all.

Maverick turned to raise a brow, waiting for Winters' to speak up once again.

Amy Winters: You will have to kill me to take this title out of my bloody hands... And Cassie... I expect the same out of you.

Winters tossed her mic away and proudly lifted her title above her head. Cassie smirked and slowly walked backstage as Ferocity went to commercial.
