The investigation begins

The scene fades in to an elevator door at the end of a dark and dingy hallway, the elevator dings and the doors open, revealing Rhys Matthews, formally dressed and stone faced, his footsteps echo in the corridor as he walks down it finally stopping at a door that reads ‘Greg Humphreys – Private Investigator’ Rhys knocks a couple of times before a voice emanates from the room.

Voice

Come in.

Rhys enters the room, and we get to see the person behind the voice, an older gentleman sits behind a desk, cigarette in the corner of his mouth and a file in his hand.

Greg Humphreys

Sit down Mr. Matthews, I’ve found some information that might be very interesting to you.

Rhys shuffles over before sitting down on the other side of the desk

I’ve been investigating the nature of Brock Lesnar’s return to CMV and the reasons behind it and what I found is quite shocking, you see, I believe this was actually a ploy set up by a third party, the suspect is someone you must have wronged in the past…

Rhys thinks back to all the enemies he has made in his career at CMV and one name begins to stick out, as he collects his thoughts they are interrupted by the sound of paper sliding under the door, Rhys jumps up out of his chair rushes over to the door, ignoring the note, he opens the door and sticks his head out into the corridor looking both ways before letting out an exasperated sigh, he closes the door once more before bending down to pick up the note which reads…

Rhys stares at the note for a while, the note flaps as his hands shake with anger

I’ve got to go, consider the matter resolved, i’ll be continuing this investigation myself.

Rhys hurriedly leaves the office, the door shuts behind him as Greg’s voice rings out
