Pre Season: Ashley Riot

A small-scale wrestling show was already in progress as our camera zoomed in on the ring, strewn with weapons. Ashley Riot is leaning against the ropes, exhausted; she's been fighting for well over twenty minutes. She was starting to wonder if signing up for a deathmatch gauntlet was the best idea, so close to the new season in CMV. Stupid, she thought to herself, risking injury at a time like this!

Ashley's inner monologue was interrupted by an attack from one of her opponents! Including Ashley, there were only two left; a male wrestler named Carjacker and a female named Mercedes Ranallo. Mercedes is the one attacking Ashley, swinging a light tube at her face! Ashley ducks but doesn't get out of the way in time, and she feels the tube shatter across her back! The audible "ooooh" from the crowd is almost drowned out by the stinging pain. No matter how many times it happened, she could never get used to feeling glass cut her skin. 

No other option, she had to powder out. Ashley fell onto her stomach and rolled out of the ring, just as Mercedes was clotheslined by Carjacker! Ashley tried to look up and see the action, but her eyes were watering from the pain. Slowly, painfully, she dragged herself back to her feet. Carjacker had a chair now, and raised it above his head to strike down on Mercedes, but the smaller wrestler was faster! With a swift kick between the legs, Carjacker dropped the chair and Mercedes grabbed it herself, bending it around his head as if it were made of paper. 

Now was her chance; Ashley stormed the ring and hit Mercedes with a knee, knocking her down, before turning to Carjacker. He was bent over, down on one knee, perfect position! Ashley hit the ropes and on the rebound, jumped in the air and stomped Carjacker's head to the mat; the Riot Act! She hooked his leg and the ref counted... One... Two.. Three! 

Ashley stood up and felt the chair hit her back; it was just her and Mercedes now, and the latter was not pleased that Ashley stole her kill! Ashley barely managed to get her arms up in time as Mercedes brought the chair down; her forearms absorbed most of the blow, but she could still feel the impact rattle her skull! 

Ashley went down and immediately Mercedes was on her; Ashley was able to kick out, but Mercedes transitioned into a crossface! No way was Ashley tapping out in a match like this! She grabbed hold of the bottom rope, and the referee screamed at her that it didn't matter; if she could talk she'd tell him that she knows! But right now, that wasn't the point... Oh man, she only had one arm free! She pulled as hard as she could, but she couldn't move both of their weight with just one hand. 

The pain was setting in, she was seeing spots in the corner of her vision! If she didn't tap out soon, she'd fall unconscious... No other option! Ashley forced her mouth open and bit down on Mercedes's thumb! The latter yelled out and released the hold, and Ashley- in a frenzy- jumped onto her and bit into her face! Mercedes screamed and started scratching at Ashley's face, but her teeth were already sunk deep into her forehead! They struggled for a moment before Mercedes finally tossed Ashley off of her, and she made an effort to stand. Mercedes was bleeding profusely, and the blood was in her eyes... She paused to wipe them, leaving herself open for the chair that Ashley had picked up! The crack echoed off the walls of the small convention center, and the bloodthirsty crowd cheered for the brutality!

Ashley collapsed onto Mercedes, barely able to keep her own shoulders off the mat, and the referee counted... One... Two... Three! Rob Zombie's "Dead Girl Superstar" played over the PA system, Ashley Riot's entrance music, as the referee helped her to her feet and raised her hand. Ashley smiled, her opponent's blood dripping from her mouth, and absorbed the moment. 

In this moment, right now... Nothing could stop her.
