Sanda with Shou Rong and Ashley Riot

*On the ever growing journey of Shou Rong and Ashley Riot trying to get along, Shou Rong takes Riot to a kickboxing gym. Riot looking around at the gym and while The Deathmatch Princess is talented in the works of kickboxing she is still new to the sport and took up Shou’s offer for this opportunity. They step into a room with two kickboxing bags hanging from the ceiling, a bench, and a timer on the clock*

Shou Rong: I know kickboxing is very popular around the world but over in China we have a more grappling based version called “Sanda”.

*Ashley Riot looks a bit confused*

Ashley Riot: San-San..

Shou Rong: San-da.

Ashley Riot: San-da...San-da…Sanda! I got it now. Thank you, Shoe.

*Shou Rong looks a bit ticked off Riot pronounced their name wrong again*

Shou Rong: It is Shou! You say the O and U like the end of Now.

Ashley Riot: Sho-

Shou Rong: We aren’t doing that again. Just, get in front of the bag on the right.

*Riot gets to the bag on the right*

Shou Rong: Get into stance.

*Riot stances up but in a very awkward way*

Shou Rong: Watch how I do it.

*Shou stances at their bag and Riot mimics after a few verbal corrections by Shou*

Shou Rong: Now brace your body and throw a kick to the side of the bag.

*Shou Rong braces and kicks the side of the bag with force as Riot kicks the bag and falls down*

Shou Rong: Maybe the bag isn’t your strong suit. I have an idea. Riley and I did this and it helped us bond and get out that aggression.

*Riot manages to get up as Shou gets on her knees*

Shou Rong: Kick me in the chest. As hard as you can. If we want to get our aggression out and so I can teach you some new skills you have to kic-

*Ashley Riot kicks Shou square in the chest as The Crimson Empress winces in pain but manages to shrug off the pain. Shou Rong stands up*

Shou Rong: For a small girl you pack quite the punch. Now…my turn. Just stand still. It won’t hurt too bad.

*Shou shakes their leg out and delivers a kick with not as much force as they would like but wants to try and be friendly. Riot winces in pain and holds her chest and falls to a knee. Shou picks up Riot*

Shou Rong: You’ll live, Ashley. Now again.

*Shou gets on their knees and puts their arms behind their back and Ashley Riot kicks Shou Rong but instead of the chest, catches Shou on the ear and Shou falls holding their ear and their ear starts to bleed, Shou stands up and gets in Ashley Riots face*

Shou Rong: What the hell was that for?! You could’ve hit my neck you idiot!

*Ashley Riot goes back into the corner as Shou Rong corners her*

Ashley Riot: Shou please please please. I’m sorry. I was trying to get your shoulder and I forgot how tall you are. I didn’t mean to hit your ear. Please Shou, I wasn’t meaning to get your ear!

*Shou Rong wants to just beat the hell out of Riot but Shou realizes Riley wouldn’t want that. Shou reluctantly helps Riot up and steps away from the corner.*

Shou Rong: Maybe this isn’t the best thing to do with my neck injury. You want to...just get ice cream…something not as chaotic.

Ashley Riot: I love Ice Cream! Let’s go do that Shou.

*Ashley Riot runs past Shou*

Shou Rong: My name is not SHOE!

*Rong follows Riot out of the room as we fade to black*
