Independent Wrestling Network Presents: Jason Spade Returns Again!

The IWN jingle plays and the scene fades in to the stage, featuring longtime correspondent, Troy Garter!

"Good morning, everyone! So happy that you're joining us on this beautiful Saturday morning. Today's guest is returning for a third time, please welcome... Jason Spade!

"Always a pleasure, Troy."

"It's been quite a while since you were last here, Jason. Last time we spoke, you were the CMV Undisputed Champion! How have things changed since then?"

"Well, I'm sure you've noticed, but I'm not the Undisputed Champion anymore."

A chuckle from Garter.

"But, in all seriousness, more things have changed than I can recount, honestly. These past two years since I've been on your show have been a wild ride. I've dealt with some injuries, almost got nuked in Germany, switched shows a bunch of times... Life, I guess."

"Life certainly has a way of surprising us. I'm sure I wasn't the only one surprised to see you stroll out at Revamp with Madison Wright, hand in hand!"

"Yeah, I, uh... I wanted to keep it a little more under wraps but Madison insisted we went public sooner rather than later. 'We don't have anything to hide', she said. It was her idea to put on a little show for the dirt sheets."

"Speaking of shows, we're one day removed now from CMV Revamp and the 2022 CMV draft. You were the number one draft pick for Octane, netting a $117,000 deal for the 2022 season. Was your number one spot at all related to your relationship with Octane GM, Madison Wright?"

Spade shifts uncomfortably.

"Not in the slightest. I'll tell you the same thing I told Madison; I'm used to being number one pick. Tell me, for the '21 Season, who was Crossfire's #1 draft pick?"

"Well, I believe it was--"

"It was Jason Spade. You see, Troy, people- especially people on the internet- have short memories. They'll see me getting this draft pick and think it was all because of my thing with Madison, and not because I've been busting my ass in this company for three years, being one of the best and most consistent members of the roster. People have nothing to say to you when you're at the bottom, and everything to say when you're at the top."

"While it is true that your performance record speaks for itself, you have to admit that being under contract of the show run by someone you're in a romantic relationship with is a bit of a conflict of interest."

"The only conflict I'm interested in involves the CMV Global Championship. Madison is a businesswoman first, and knows that I'll be the best contender she could possibly have. Jason Spade's name does numbers, and she knows that."

"Well, I'm not sure others will see it that way. According to some of the rumored salaries, you're one of the lowest-valued wrestlers in the company from a monetary standpoint. Allegedly, Danger Cow's contract was worth more than yours."

Spade narrows his eyes at Troy.

"Did you bring me on here to insult me, Troy?"

"Well, no, I just--"

More importantly, are you insulting Madison Wright? Are you implying that she was stupid to pick me as her number one?"

"All I'm saying is that--"

"All I'm saying is that this interview is over, and you'd better think twice about insulting Madison again if you ever want to get me on this show again."

Spade stands from his seat, slams his headset on the table, and storms from the room. Troy takes a moment.

"Well, folks, that's twice now that Jason Spade has stormed out of our studio. Regardless, it's time for us to take a break! When we get back, Vance Vintage will join us to discuss his newest theory, 'Are Tailcoat Val and Suraci the same person?'. See you soon!"
